BSI welcomes the Learning & Skills Network

The Learning and Skills Network (LSN) has appointed BSI as the sole provider of venue finding and event management services to support over 600 events and conferences that LSN stage throughout the year.
An independent not-for-profit organisation committed to making a difference to education and training, LSN delivers quality improvement and staff development programmes that support specific government initiatives, through research, training and consultancy. Initiatives include the “Train to Gain” support programme, “Subject Learning Coach” and “Post 16 Citizenship”, to name but a few. LSN also supplies services directly to schools, colleges and training organisations.
With 600 events taking place annually, each attracting between 50 and 100 delegates, and a further dozen conferences each catering for 200 people, BSI will provide specialist cost control solutions as well as add value by delivering enhanced management information, market leading technology and wider accommodation provider content.
Offering significantly discounted rates across a UK and international accommodation and venue database of over 85,000 properties, BSI’s user-friendly online self-booking tool, BSIDirect™, will be implemented across the organisation in order to reduce transactional costs, deliver arranger convenience and drive corporate compliance.
