BSI Wins Fujitsu Contract Extension and Second ‘Gold’ Award
20 May 2010
Fujitsu, one of Europe’s leading IT companies, has again recognised the achievements of BSI by awarding them with the prestigious ‘Gold Services Provider’ status for the second year running at Fujitsu’s Annual Awards Ceremony that took place on 22nd April at Holiday Inn Regents Park Hotel, London.
The contract extension was the result of a number of key factors including continuing quarterly improvements to scorecards representing feedback from Fujitsu key bookers, along with savings on its accommodation and meetings spend.
BSI’s second Gold Services Provider award follows ongoing participation in the Fujitsu supplier management programme which promotes continuous improvements with key suppliers. BSI was once more successfully evaluated against a set of weighted business criteria including: quality, environmental & corporate social responsibility, governance & compliance and technology.
John Moss, Head of Services Sourcing at Fujitsu UK & Ireland, commented: “The team at BSI is worthy of acknowledgement for accomplishing ‘Gold’ status for the second year in a row. They are hard working and continue to drive service excellence and real business benefit. Congratulations BSI!”
On collection of the award Trevor Elswood, BSI’s Group Managing Director commented: “BSI is committed to understanding, embracing and delivering what’s important to Fujitsu. With the speed and efficiency of the latest version of our specialist online self booking tool, BSIDirect™, our market leading procurement pre-authorisation and policy controls and the upcoming launch of an innovative new venue finding product, BSI is demonstrating our dedication to exceeding customer requirements. We are delighted that this commitment is resulting in bottom line benefits and consistently high results for organisations like Fujitsu and I’d like to send my sincere thanks to all those who work tirelessly to serve Fujitsu within the BSI team.”
